Privacy Policy
Not yet published. This page will be completed before Supporter goes on sale.
The app
Basho works on files on your Mac. The app sends none of your notes anywhere. If you bring your own model into the terminal, what you send to it is governed by that provider, not by us.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the date and time you signed up and confirmed (double opt-in: nothing is sent until you open the confirmation mail and press the button). We use it to write when a build is ready and for occasional product updates. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing from any email or by writing to team@basho.one. We send these emails with Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which acts as our processor and stores the data in the United States. We do not use open or click tracking in our emails.
Payments
Supporter payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details and billing information; we see your email address, what you bought and when. We do not store card numbers.
